Emily Swallow
Swallow started her Broadway career, performing in several productions, such as High Fidelity at the Guthrie Theater and King Lear for Shakespeare in the Park. She also appeared in Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park and the world premiere of the Off-Broadway productions Romantic Poetry, Measure for Pleasure. In the year 2008 Swallow made her film debut in the military drama The Lucky Ones. She starred alongside Mark Rylance at the Guthrie Theatre in Louis Jenkins' play Nice Fish,[citation required] as well for Donald Margulies' play The Country House, at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. She also starred at Manhattan Theater Club in John Patrick Shanley's Musical Romantic Poetry, which was a world premiere. In 2010 she was awarded the Falstaff Award, which is presented to the female actress who performs the most in a production. Her performance as Kate in The Taming of the Shrew as Kate earned her the prize. Swallow as well as Jac Huberman, who is a comedian and singer, co-created a stage production called Jac N Swallow in 2012. They staged the show at New York's Laurie Beeckman Theater, and Joe's Pub. The show's comedy misadventures revolve around two characters who face different challenges in life and with different levels of respect and sanity. Based on their character, they're creating a TV show. Nice Fish was premiered at the Guthrie Theater in 2013. She was involved in the development of it along together with Mark Rylance. She was cast as the lead character of Ayad Akhtar's Disgraced, a production that was produced by the Center Theatre Group. Her first TV performance was Guiding Light, and she was later cast in Southland, Ringer, The Good Wife, NCIS, Flight of the Conchords, Medium, as series regular The Good Wife, Dr. Michelle Robidaux on TNT's medical drama Monday Mornings[2] as well as Rizzoli and Isles. One of her roles was part in the main role of The Mentalist as FBI agent Kim Fischer. In the eleventh season of Supernatural, in 2015 she was chosen to play Amara"the Darkness "the Darkness". The character will play the Armorer beginning in 2019 for The Mandalorian, a Star Wars TV series. As of the show, she hasn't been able to reveal her identity since the Mandalorians who are traditionalists don't take off their helmets. She has become more observed in Season 3 as the story line concentrates more on the Mandalorian population and not just the Mandalorian
